"Imaginary Breakfast" gets its title from the focal point: the egg. Did you realize you can't actually cook an egg like this? I painted crispy whites with a perfectly runny yolk—a culinary impossibility!
While I love to paint my eggs sunny side up and glistening, when it comes to eating, I prefer them almost over-hard. In this painting, I combined the best of both methods to create a breakfast that looks delicious, even if it defies the laws of cooking. Now available as a renewed print for your kitchen wall.
Why this print is a conversation starter:
A Culinary Paradox: A fun backstory that foodies and cooks will appreciate—the "impossible" perfect egg.
Vibrant Morning Vibes: The bright yellows and oranges bring a sunny, energetic feel to any kitchen or dining nook.
Museum Quality: Printed on Hahnemühle German Etching paper, a heavyweight, acid-free archival paper. Its velvety texture perfectly replicates the glossy yolk and crispy edges of my original oil painting.
Lasting Vibrancy: Made with pigment-based inks (Giclée) that ensure the rich colors stay fresh and intense. You can display it anywhere indoors, regardless of the light.
