In "Lemon Juice," I wanted to tackle the visual challenge of painting light passing through glass and liquid at a 30x30 cm scale. I used dense, sculptural brushwork to define the lemons, contrasting their physical, opaque volume against the fluid, neon pink and violet reflections in the long shadows.

I utilized a viscous application of paint to create a physical relief on the panel, making the highlights on the fruit and glass literally stand off the surface. This is a one-of-a-kind original artwork, painted on a rigid wood panel that I hand-primed in my studio for maximum archival quality and color vibrancy.

At 30x30 cm (12x12 inches), this is a substantial piece that commands attention as a focal point in any modern room or as the anchor of a larger gallery wall.
