In "Lemon Study," I wanted to explore the maximum color vibration between a bright yellow subject and a deep violet background. I used heavy impasto brushwork to give the lemon a physical, 3D volume, including neon pink highlights along the edges to make the colors feel electric.

This is a one-of-a-kind original artwork, not a print. I painted this directly on a rigid wood panel that I hand-primed in my studio to ensure the oil pigments stay rich and the surface remains durable. Its compact 6x6 inch size makes it a perfect gem for a kitchen shelf, a desk, or as a focal point in a gallery wall.
