Pumpkin Still Life - Original Oil Painting - Seasonal Art

A study of autumn warmth.

"Pumpkin Still Life" is an original oil painting based on a beautiful reference by the artist Kai Lun Qu. I was inspired by the classic composition and the opportunity to play with the rich, warm tones of the pumpkin against a darker background.

Painting this piece was a meditative process, focusing on the weight and volume of the pumpkin. It is a timeless subject that captures the essence of fall, perfect for adding a touch of seasonal elegance and color to your home year-round.

Why this original is a unique find:

• Artistic Inspiration: A homage to a great reference, interpreted through my own brushwork and color palette.
• Rich Contrast: The bright orange of the pumpkin pops beautifully against the shadows, creating a striking focal point.
• Hand-Primed Quality: Painted on a sturdy wood canvas that I primed myself to ensure the texture enhances the depth of the painting.
