In "Four Citrus," I wanted to explore how different fruits interact when placed together. I focused on the high-contrast relationship between the ruby grapefruit, the bright orange, and the lemon, setting them against a patterned background of mint and lavender.

I built up the texture using thick, sculptural brushwork that gives each slice a physical, 3D volume. To make the colors pop, I used deep magenta and violet for the shadows, creating a neon glow that a standard print simply cannot replicate. This is a one-of-a-kind physical artwork, created directly on a rigid wood panel that I hand-primed in my studio for long-term durability and color vibrancy.
