Add a unique, high-contrast original to your wall with my latest study of texture and light.
In "Kiwi Halves," I wanted to explore the visual relationship between a fuzzy exterior and a juicy, graphic interior. I used non-traditional colors like teals and magentas for highlights and shadows, pushing the colors beyond ordinary still life to create an electric glow.
This is a one-of-a-kind original artwork, not a print. I utilize my signature thick impasto brushwork to give the kiwi a physical, sculptural volume that you can only get with a physical original. Created on a rigid wood panel that I hand-primed in my studio, this piece is built for maximum color vibrancy and long-term durability.
At 15x15 cm (6x6 inches), it’s a compact but high-impact piece that fits perfectly on a desk, shelf, or as a vibrant addition to a gallery wall in your home.
